Turn an old suitcase into a unique, upcycle DIY dog bed using these simple no-sew instructions from ShopRuche.com. They mention the lid of this case stays up but if yours does not remove the lid or use strong tape from lid to body of the case behind to prevent the lid from closing.
This bed is for dogs who don’t chew or scratch at their dog beds, as well. My Pip, for example, would love this easy-to-make-in-an-hour bed. Thank you, ShopRuche.com for giving me permission to share your good-looking idea here.

Would like a bit more of a head start than that? Molly Mutt helps you stuff your own dog bed by supplying you with the inner Stuff Sack and a wide variety of modern, colorful covers. If you’re a bit tired of somber colored, serious dog beds; take a look at Molly Mutt.
Lastly, a fun idea I just saw was make a bed from a wooden table (end- or coffee- depending on the size you want). Select a table with no drawers or shelves, just a top and four legs. Flip it, paint it something fun or leave it as is, put a pillow into the “bed” formed by the recessed area and voila! A charming and unusual dog bed.
In this example they have cut one side for easier access but I don’t think that is necessary for most dogs. Makes a four-poster dog bed in under an hour. (Oh, and by-the-way, that looks like a Molly Mutt duvet cover in that bed!)
