All About Dog Beds

Place: Positive Dog Training

Positive dog training means both you and your dog have a great time doing it and your dog gets trained. Sweet Pea, an adorable young beagle, demonstrates this perfectly. She is delighted to go to her bed – tail wagging. And she does go to bed. Aim for both in your training: joy and compliance.

Note: When I reward her I throw the treat on to the bed. Why? Because I want the bed to be the rewarding spot, not my hand. If I feed her from my hand, she will follow my hand. If I feed her from the bed, she will lie on the bed – wagging her tail, happily hoping for my return!
